Accent Imaging Becomes Title Sponsor of Day of Destruction

LUCAMA, NC – Accent Imaging has signed on to become the title sponsor of the Day of Destruction at Southern National Motorsports Park on Saturday, October 28th.

The Accent Imaging Day of Destruction will be the first demolition derby event to take place at Southern National Motorsports Park since the track re-opened under Michael Diaz’s ownership in 2012.

The event will feature a compact demolition derby, an eight cylinder demolition derby, endure racing, burnout competitions and several other events outside the realm of a typical Saturday night show at the Lucama, North Carolina track.  There will also be Halloween costume contest for kids and adults of all ages during the night’s action.

Accent Imaging, a printing company based in Raleigh, North Carolina, is owned and operated by Mike Stodder.  Stodder has sponsored events at Southern National in the past and is the current operator of Wake County Speedway in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Inaugural Accent Imaging Day of Destruction will get underway with a pre-race concert by Angier, North Carolina musician Canaan James at 4:30pm.  The Red Rock Monster Truck will also be rolling for rides for kids at 4:30pm.  On track action gets underway at 6pm.

Tickets for the Accent Imaging Day of Destruction will be $20 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and kids five and under will be admitted for free.  A family four pack is available for $40 and pit passes are $25.  For people wanting to compete, registration is $25.
