LUCAMA, NC – Southern National Motorsports Park’s commitment to cutting cost has continued with the implementation of a new tire program in which drivers can get four tires for the price of two for the season opening race, the Spring BreakOut.
Thanks to the commitments of Steve Howell and Howell Racing Products, drivers can now purchase two tires and get two tires for free. The “buy two, get two free” program is just the latest in a series of announcements from Southern National Motorsports Park’s new promoter, Langley Austin, that cuts costs.
“I hate to keep using the word exciting but what we have going on over here at Southern National is exciting,” said track promoter Langley Austin. “With Steve Howell stepping up to offer this tire deal it’s just another thing for our drivers and in turn our fans to get excited about.”
“We will run a two tire program this season but we wanted the teams to have an opportunity to run on their own tires all season if they planned to run the full season. This makes it perfect because they can start on four new but still only pay for two tires.”
Howell Racing Products, a longtime supporter of Southern National Motorsports Park, has stepped up to support the new program. Howell also provides parts at all of the regular season races.
“We couldn’t offer this without the help of Howell Racing Products who is a giant supporter of Southern National,” said Austin. “Steve’s dedication to racing and helping racers in this region is unmatched and we’re proud to have him providing parts at all of our races.”
The 2015 regular season will get started at Southern National Motorsports Park, located off Newsome Mill Road in Lucama, North Carolina, on April 11th with the Spring BreakOut. The Spring BreakOut features twin races for the retooled Late Model division as well as racing for the Charger, U-CAR, Legends and Bandolero divisions.
