LUCAMA, NC – Fans who attend another race in the region will get a $3 discount on general admission tickets for Sunday’s Jerry Moody Memorial at Southern National Motorsports Park.
“We know that many race fans in the region will go to other races this weekend at our partner tracks Wake County and East Carolina,” track promoter Langley Austin said. “We want to help save them some money since we’re all racing on the same weekend for the only time this season. Fans can turn in their ticket from Friday or Saturday’s races at either track and get $3 off their general admission or suite ticket Sunday afternoon.”
Several tracks in the region will be running races on Friday night and Saturday night. Wake County Speedway (Raleigh, North Carolina) will be in action on Friday night as will Ace Speedway (Altamahaw, North (Robersonville, North Carolina) in Robersonville and County Line Raceway (Elm City, North Carolina) will be racing on Saturday night. Friday night and Saturday night will also see NASCAR racing action at the Charlotte Motor Speedway (Concord, North Carolina) with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ All-Star Race.
“We want to be proactive and work together with the tracks around us,” Austin stated. “We’re all working together on dates and making sure we don’t conflict. This deal gives fans the chance to attend all three races if they choose and save money on the final race of the weekend.”
Along with tracks like Charlotte, Wake County, East Carolina and Ace, several dirt tracks will be running races in the Carolinas as well.
“Dirt racing is big in this region too and we want all the County Line, Fayetteville, Dublin and Dixieland fans to come check us out too,” Austin remarked. “We’ve got the ‘Drama in Lucama’ and it’s sure to entertain even people who hate asphalt racing.”
