Lucama, NC — The school year is over, summer is well on its way, and the points battle at SNMP is as hot as ever!
When the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stocks return to Southern National Motorsports Park this Saturday night, the points battle between Tommy Lemons Jr., Lee Pulliam and Myatt Snider will be as tight as it’s been all season.
On the heels of a disappointing 12th place finish in the second-half of his twin-75 lap race two weeks ago, Lemons will come into Saturday night’s action just 22 points ahead of the two-time NASCAR Whelen All-American Series National Champion Lee Pulliam, and 28 points ahead of SNMP rookie Myatt Snider. Pulliam will be entering the night on the heels of a sweep in the Father’s Day 370, while Snider scored two top-fives.
Saturday night’s action will also feature twin-35 lap races for the Limited Late Model division and the first twin-25 lap races for the Ultimate Body Shop UCAR division. Street Stocks, Chargers and the regional touring Southern Ground Pounders will all be in action as well.
To celebrate the end of the school year, SNMP is offering free admission to all students 16 and under with a paid adult! Tickets for Saturday’s event are $15 for adults (17+), $12 for seniors and military (with valid ID), and free for all students 16 and under (with a paying adult).
