Saturday May 7th D&J Cycles Night at the Races has been cancelled due to extremely wet track conditions. With the extreme amounts of rain and bad weather that the track has received this past week the track conditions are not the best to hold an event this weekend. We know that the racing surface will be dry and we all can work around the puddles in the pits but the conditions of the rest of the track are not what we want our fans to experience. With there still being chances of rain this evening and until the early morning and with the temperatures not getting out of the 60’s there is no chance for the track to dry out enough for it to be a pleasant experience for our fans.
This is a very hard to call to make but we want our experience for everybody that comes to our facility to be a great one not just a good one and we feel that Celebrating with our Mothers on their big weekend while they are trying to avoid slipping and falling and getting all muddy from the grounds conditions is just not the best thing.
