The finest stars and cars roared into your Nascar Hometrack, Southern National Motorsports Park Saturday night for a fun filled evening of racing entertainment. Beautiful weather greeted fans, drivers and car owner's to the 4/10 of a mile asphalt oval. Andrew Grady of Raleigh won the opening Limited Late Model feature over Chris Chapman and Paul Williamson. Robert Arch and Brian Obie battled all night and crossed under the stripe in 4th and 5th place. The Any Car Division winner was Chris Hales who held off Mike Parrish and Joseph Pittman for the victory. Parker Frazier drove a smooth race in the Bandoleros Division, leading every lap to make the trip to victory lane. Cameron Murray and Matthew Gurganus ran nose to tail, coming home in 2nd and 3rd place followed by #04 team car and Jacob Bradley rounding out the top 5 positions when the checkered flag flew. The Legends feature winner Eric Courtney now has back to back victories, the young man has been strong, early this season. Emily Day continues to impress, crossing under the stripe in the 2nd place. The second feature for the Limited Late Model Division rolled off and speedster, Paul Williamson from Kenansville made his way to victory lane to cap off a great day, fast time and a victory, Congrats to all and thanks to all fans, drivers and car owners, beautiful weather and a quick and well run evening, made for a special Saturday evening. Southern National Motorsports Park is back in action this coming Saturday night, May 5th for May Day 200. Limited Late Model Twins, Mini Stocks, Legends, Bando's, Any Car Division plus the Touring Series, Allison Legacy stars and cars.
