Huge news for the 2019 Solid Rock Thanksgiving Classic is that the Super Trucks will be the Main Feature race for Saturday November 30th race.
“When Steve Zacharias reached out to me and asked if there was a event date that we could make happen towards the end of the year I replied the Classic and within 2 days he called me back and said he had some commitment from drivers and that is all it took to add them to Saturday Night” – Michael Diaz
SNMP which over the years has been known for huge fields and some great truck racing just has not seen much interest from trucks in recent years.
“I reached out to Steve at the beginning of the year and tried to make an event date work for both of us so that we would be able to get his truck class up here to SNMP but we were unable to get that date set. So glad he called me back and we were able to make this happen. It still is up to the drivers to Pre-Register to make this happen but as long as we get 10 or more we are good to go” – Michael Diaz
Drivers such as Chris Burns a regular at CCS Speedway on the crystal coast have reached out to Michael about the rules and entry for along with SNMP regular back in the day Jody Measamer which is super excited about running this year in the classic.
SNMP Fans have always loved the trucks and every time the track puts out a survey or asks the question to the fans about what they would like to see race at SNMP they say TRUCKS!! So here is the opportunity to see them back on the track.
Super Trucks will take the track on Saturday November 30th as the Feature 75 lap event you will not want to miss it.
