LUCAMA, NC (September 23, 2026) — Registration is now open for the Tour-Type Modifieds for the 24th Annual North-South Shootout, November 6–7 at Southern National Motorsports Park. Online registration forms and event rules are available at SNMP.com/NSS. Online registration includes complete payout information and race procedures.

The Tour-Type Modifieds will headline the weekend with a 125-lap feature on Saturday, November 7, featuring a 32-car starting field.

Race procedures will include double-file “cone” restarts, free-pass car procedures and controlled cautions. Teams will be permitted two new tires during the race, with only one new tire allowed to be changed during any caution period. Fuel and tires may not be taken during the same caution.

Hoosier Racing Tires – M20 compound left-side tires and M30 compound right-side tires- must be purchased at the track during the event weekend.  The North-South Shootout will be a six-tire event, with four tires designated for qualifying and two change tires.

Sunoco Racing Fuel will also be available for purchase at Southern National Motorsports Park. Tour-Type Modified teams will be required to purchase a minimum of 20 gallons of fuel from the track.

Entry fees are required with each registration. A $50 late fee will apply to entries received after November 3, 2026.

Registration and rules are also available online for the 602 Modifieds. Southern National Motorsports Park weekly divisions — Legends, Chargers and Any Cars — will have registration available and will compete under their standard weekly rules. Registration and rules for the Vintage Modifieds will be announced separately.
