Mud Girl Run Invades Southern National Motorsports Park

LUCAMA, NC – Southern National Motorsports Park will host a different race on Saturday.

Preparations are already underway for the Mud Girl Run, an obstacle race dedicated to women.  The mud run event will be held around the track through the woods behind the backstretch and turns three and four, and in the field at Southern National Motorsports Park.

“This is a really cool event and I’m excited for it,” Southern National Motorsports Park owner Michael Diaz said.  “These ladies are going to have a lot of fun.  It’s just a really neat event for them.  I’m glad we can host this and show that SNMP is a great entertainment venue for Wilson County and that we can do a lot more than just racing.

The Mud Girl Run race challenges strength and agility, while also providing a fun and muddy experience.  Among the obstacles are a cargo pyramid, mud mountain, slides, Everest obstacles, ding dongs, and much more.  In all, there are over 17 obstacles and four categories.  The event promotes high energy, empowerment, unity and lifetime memories.

The event begins with the MUDGIRL Festival at 7:45 am on Saturday, April 19, 2025.  The first wave of runners will compete at 8:30 am, and the last wave will go at 1:29 pm.  The festival closes at 4:00 pm.
